The Movies

In the holidays I went to my cousin’s birthday party.  His name is Joey.  He turned 7 years old, so he is older than me.  Joey’s birthday party was in our church hall. 

A lot of people came to Joey’s birthday party.  There was my nana, my auntie Vanessa, and my mum.  My mum’s name is Natasha.   Lots of my family were at Joey’s birthday party. 

First we ate birthday cake.  It was a chocolate and strawberry cake.  It was decorated with strawberries and it had an angel on top of it.  It looked very pretty.  It tasted like strawberries and it was yum.

Next we watched a movie.  The movie was about a dragon.  The dragon was called Joey.  It had a sad ending because the dragon died at the end of the movie. 

After the movie I gave Joey his present.  I gave him a doll’s house.  It had dolls inside it.  They were little dolls.  Joey said, “Thank you”, to me.  Joey liked his present.

Later we went to McDonalds and ate and played.  After that we went to the park to play some more.  Then we went home.  It was a fantastic day.

On the weekend I went to Rainbows End. I went with my mummy, my auntie Vanessa and my little cousin Caleb. Caleb is only 3 years old. My favourite ride went up and down, and around. I liked it the best because it went up and down, and around. I had a good time at Rainbows End.

Easter Time

Easter Time

At Easter time I went to the Easter Show. I went with

my family. First I put my swimming togs on and then I

went down the Super Slide with my cousins Caleb and

Nivea. I went down the Super Slide very fast. I liked

going down the Super Slide because it had lots of water.

The water at the top of the slide was cold and the water

at the bottom of the slide was warm. I had lots of fun at

the Easter Show. I hope that I get to go to the Easter

Show again next year.

Making Homemade Ice Cream

Yesterday I made ice cream in Room 2 because we are learning how to turn liquid into a solid, in Science.  First we put out our ingredients.  We used evaporated milk, vanilla and sugar.  Then we put the ingredients in a bowl.  Next we mixed it all up using an electric beater.  We all had a turn to beat the ingredients.  It turned thick, fluffy and creamy.  Then we put it into the freezer to set.  Later, we took it out of the freezer and tasted it.  It tasted fantastic.  I like being able to make my own ice cream so I don't have to go to the shop.

The Beach

The Beach

On the weekend my mummy and I went to the
beach. We put on our togs and went for a swim.
My mummy carried me into the water. The water
felt cold. After our swim we had lunch. We had
sandwiches with salad and cucumber in them.
Then it was time to go home.  I like going to the 
beach with my mum.
